Hey everyone, I wanted to share something that I saw today.
You might have seen the news about singer Oliver Tree tragically passing away at age 32 in a helicopter crash over Rio de Janeiro. Itβs an incredibly heavy reminder that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Whether itβs completely out of your hands or someone else's, you never truly know when your time is up.
It immediately made me think of the lyrics to his hit song, Life Goes On:
"Work all day, and then I wake up
Work all day, and then I wake up...
Work all day, and then I wake up..."
That is the absolute definition of the 8-5 rat race trap. So many people spend their entire lives putting off their dreams, delaying time with family, and skipping out on adventures just to keep grinding out that endless loop.
This is exactly why we build passive income. We don't do this just to watch numbers go up on a screen; we do this to break the cycle and buy our time back while we are still here to enjoy it. Life is too short to spend it entirely at a desk or waiting for a retirement age you might not even see.
Go enjoy your time with your family and friends. Be cautious, but don't stop chasing adventures. Use your capital to buy your freedom, stick to the plan, and live your life today.
